How to look up your card
- Find the number. At the bottom of the card, for example 4/102 or 125/94. Typing it with the name narrows the result to one card.
- Check the set. Several sets have a card with the same name and number. Match the symbol or set code with our set symbol guide.
- Judge the condition. Prices are for clean, near-mint cards. Whitened edges, scratches or bends cut the value, often by half or more.
- Check the printing. Holo, reverse holo and 1st Edition copies of the same card sell for different prices; the card page lists each printing.

- Where do the prices come from?
- TCGplayer market prices (the US market) where recent, otherwise the Cardmarket trend price (Europe's largest card market) converted to US dollars at the European Central Bank rate of the day. Both are averages of recent sales, not asking prices.
- Why is my card worth less than the price shown?
- Market prices are for near-mint cards. Whitening on the edges, scratches, bends or a worn surface lower the value a lot; heavily played cards often sell for a fraction.
- Should I get my card graded?
- Grading costs money and time, so it usually only pays for cards worth well over the grading fee raw, in very clean condition. Compare the raw price here with recent graded sales on eBay before you send a card in.
